Let's have a scale swap. Every one that wants to, can agree to swap a set of scales kind of like knife in the hat. Every one agrees to send a set of scales to whom ever a drawing says they are supposed to swap with. I don't think we need a lot of rules. Maybe set a time limit and a minimum size. It's understood that no one is going to kick in their most prize set of scales but it's also understood no one dumps their junk on the guy they are going to swap with.
I'd guess minimum size should be 1 1/2" x 4 1/2" x 1/4" set or 1 1/2" x 4 1/2" block. Natural materials only. A deadline would be when every one is in that wants to be...
Any takers??? Any other guidelines needed?
Here's mine to start. Redwood burl stabilized by WSSI. This stuff has some small bark inclusions (which I think is a plus) that can be worked around if you don't like them. I've wetted them here to bring out the grain.
