July has been an excellent month for our favorite Uncle, and "coincidentally", also for us forumites, and customers of Himalayan Imports... :)

We've seen some most impressive khukuri and sword sales specials, a 25% discount for anything listed on H.I.'s website, a "no holds barred" 'kami free for all', the official O.K. for a couple of limited runs, and best of all, the confirmation of a non malignant tumor afflicting Uncle Bill.

I've been very pleased to see Uncle Bill posting more than before, and it's heartening to see his sense of humor and wisdom shine through in his most lucid and enjoyable posts. Stay tuned, one and all; it will only get better.

Wishing you and Yangdu the very best, Uncle Bill. Do take the best care of your physical shell as you can, and remember that you have more friends than the number of khukuries you've sold over the years! :eek:

Sometimes, when he's feeling perky, he likes to mess with my head. He makes all the colors run together and I have straighten out the WHOLE crayola box all over again. ;)

We got the kamis some backlog at least. They get very nervous when there are no orders on the shelf and I can't blame them. You can tell their nervous mental state because rather than having their usual goat, beer and rum party with the generous forumites' $150 donation they opted to go pray at Manakamana instead.

I read those buys like a book.
 
Well expect they will have rum & grub @ Manakamana anyway, $150 in Nepal must be like $10000 in the states average. Party on down the road is more fun & religion thrown in too! ;) :D

A works outing is good for the soul I reckon. Good old British tradition!
