I know some of you have seen it by now, lets hear the reviews!

BTW this is NGK-Webmaster not Mike, Poor fellow should log his computer out :) Least I'm not doing anything too mean to him other than making him look like a SW nerd! instead of me.

You can step out of the pharmacy/knife shop for 3 hours to go see it :D!

I think I might take an early lunch next week to see it!

It was KILLER!!!!
Go see it, young Padowan, run, don't walk,
Don't stop and collect $200, go straight to the 3rd episode.
I'd write more, but I don't want to spoil it.

Is it good enough to stand in line for an hour to see? I'm too lazy to do that type of crap anymore.
That's an opinion. I would do it.
I know that it worth it for me to wait 1 1/2 hours on opening night just to watch the show of costumed fanatics and enthusiasts. But that was opening night, and it's always more fun then.

I am waiting patiently to see it as every question I had since the age of 7 will be answered. :D

Saw it this morning starting at 12:01, and yes it is VERY good. Definitely not kid-friendly, though. Think Greek tragedy and you have the general tone of the plot.

Well worth the wait, very satisfying and gripping movie.

Go see it!

They lost me at the Killer Teddy Bears...I have been more and more dissapointed and keep telling myself 'Don't look.' Somehow my curiousity or need for mindless entertainment always prevails and the cycle repeats....
Y'all enjoy!

Luckily for those of us around here, the AMC24 ran out all of the other customers at 10PM and opened up all of the theaters to let folks just go on in and sit down in front of the screen of their choice. I got there at about 11:30 and still got an excellent seat.

I'll definitely be seeing it again before it is gone from theaters.

It is one of the best of the series, easily better than episodes I, II, and VI.

Anybody dressed up as Slave Leia? Women, hopefully?

No slave leia's at my theatre, but then I was already in sitting down at 9:30, so didn't see all the idiots outside. or saw them on way in, but didn't go to see all their costumes. Friend had a nice slave Leia at his theatre he said though. :)

I saw it at 3:30am last night...and let me tell you. I didn't plan on going, but we knew there was a 3:30 showing. Some buddies and i were drinking and hanging out, and finally at about 2:50 am we decided to go. We bought our tickets online, went to the theater, dn sat down in some great seats at 3:15am.

I was screaming wookie sounds at the screens, but one the movie started it shut my drunk ass right up. I was blown away. Folks, do not miss the opportunity to see this movie in the theater. take your young kids, take wives, take whoever. It was simply one of the best movie experiences I have ever had.

The special effects are magnificent, but they are too crowded. So is the plot.

I have to play devil's advocate.

You just get tired of seeing Coruscant: a million buildings, and a zillion aircraft/spacecraft at that planet all the time. I kept hoping that Coruscant would get destroyed. The reason why is simple. In this film the Galactic Empire is shown as a vast economy with both sides able to afford magnificent space vessels. The economy of the other Star Wars films shows less wealth. This needs explanation.

The far lesser numbers of robots in the other Star Wars films is never explained. This new Star Wars film is crawling with them.

The space battle scenes are way too crowded with vessels as well. This makes it hard to follow the action.

Padme's death is just too ditzy. She whines a lot and seems a stereotyped helpless female rather than the strong woman of the previous films. It would have been far better if she died on a battleship in the three-pronged civil war that is portrayed, rather than just giving up and croaking in childbirth. Her death is not dramatic, but a boring letdown.

The film needs to be seen to pull the plots together. That said, it would have done much better with a narrator telling the story.

Also General Grevious, Count Dooku, Darth Vader and Palpatine are described as evil, but they are not particularly so in this film. They are no more ruthless than say, Augustus Caesar was. They had their own point of view.

These characters should have been shown in a different light. For instance, General Grevious is described as a coward when he chooses the better part of valor, but the Emperor eventually runs Yoda off with less effort and Yoda is seen as a hero.

The galaxy where the story happens is never named. I wish it was either the Whirlpool or the Sombrero, but they skip that as usual.

Finally, it is obvious with the Empire's economy that most inhabitants could not give a damn who ruled them. This should have been explained.

The film will do well in France, as they go in for long-winded movies over there I am informed.

Padme's ...croaking in childbirth.
Crazy...in "Return of the Jedi" Leia tells Luke that she remembers their mother:
Princess Leia: Luke, what's wrong?
Luke: Leia, do you remember your mother? Your real mother?
Princess Leia: Just a little bit. She died when I was very young.
Luke: What do you remember?
Princess Leia: Just... images really. Feelings.
Luke: Tell me.
Princess Leia: She was... very beautiful. Kind, but sad. Why are you asking me this?
Luke: I have no memory of my mother. I never knew her.

Pretty strange inconsistency for Lucas, but I haven't seen Sith to make an opinion otherwise.

Just watched the movie today. It is the best out of the new ones but sometimes certain things are inconsistent and there were too many things happening that i kinda got confused. Surely a movie you need to watch more than once to get all the info together.

Still some things i don't understand until i rewatch all of 'em. What annoyed me the most was how a lot of Jedi's just got killed without any resistance. You would think they'd sense certain things.

Best part of the show was Yoda. All his scenes were superb.

Pardon me for being geeky, but this is not inconsistent. Leia was remembering her adoptive mother, and was not told she was adopted for her own protection.
