Got a phone call tonight from a friend that is stationed overseas. I guess with everything going on sometimes I am guilty of forgetting that we still have men and women stationed around the world. Many are still in harms way, doing what they do so we can be here. Lets not just remember them on Veteran's Day or Memorial Day. Lets try to remember them everyday.

So to those of you who are serving, and to all of those who have served, Thank You. For all you have done, and for all you will do. You will always be in my thoughts and prayers.

May all of our service men and women return home to their families soon.

Garth

To all who are serving, all who have served, all who support, and those who gave all, thank you and god bless.
Thanks for the post Garth.

Good reminder. A close friend of mine is serving in the French Foreign Legion in South America after having done a tour in central Afghanistan a year and a bit ago. He came back from the front lines a changed man. He's likely heading into the thick of it in Mali next like so many of his comrades have been. It can be easy to get caught up in day to day life here and forget the sacrifices of time, comfort, and sometimes more that he and so many others give so we can comfortably sit and enjoy our ways of life. I wear a Lest We Forget patch on my vest over the heart year-round to try and keep it in mind.

Thank you for the reminder Garth. My oldest son is in Afghanistan and a good friend that is like one of my kids is serving in Germany. I think of them often and try to keep their morale up in any way I can. We can't wait until they are home.

Great post!!! There is a reason why my signature is what it is, because I feel we don't tell this to our service men and women enough! Thanks to you all!!!

Good post, thanks for the humbling reminder, garth. Thank you to all who serve and have served.

A-ten-hup!

I was just thinking the other day, "Isn't it all over yet?"...
