It's become blatantly obvious that mostly everyone in this forum, myself included, is extremely well prepared for an emergency scenario even when confined to a 10' radius.

So the new game, how would you fair with the contents of your pockets?

What are your EDC items that will keep you well cared for? What might you need to add in hindsight?

Let's start:
In my pockets Is an Opinel 9, SAK w/Saw, Bandanna, Homemade Lipbalm (Beeswax+Mineral Oil), Benadryll and Alka-Seltzer. That's on me most every day, I will not leave my nightstand without my Opinel. These are my EDC items. Today I happen to have a Mora 511 on my belt.

With that, I've got a pretty good start.

I need to start carrying fire and I think I'd be set, I used to carry matches when I was a smoker but that was some moons ago.

If I just started carrying fire, I'd have everything covered except water and let's face it, I'm not Gunna EDC a canteen or pot. So I don't know what to do with water.
 
ok , my keys .. has mercator , swiss tool , and plastic mouth to mouth mask on them

I have a izulaII and a mini blade of asian origin that is lazer sharp and a lighter and a wallet with my bank card , $50 ,ID thats jeans carry .

Shirt I have panadol ( painkillers or alleged to be ) and a mobile phone

Coat I have chocolate , matches , cheap folder , bandaids . ( been looking after kids .. the bandaids are for them , the chocolate is for me .)

I havent got shelter or water covered with what I carry in what I wear .
 
I can find or make a temprary shelter without too much trouble .
In the bag I usualy carry , I have a tarp , some basics that fit down flat or small , folding bottle , kevlar cordage ( beats string ) , odds n sods that just have been needed as regular carry when I go bush , that bag comes with me most places .
