and see who salutes?

That's Ad-Man talk, and as the Advertising Director for Carson Knives it's my job to introduce New Ad Campaigns. I'm proud to have such a great product to represent, but there is one frustration to my job. The adversiting budget for Carson Knives is ZERO and has been for some time. But, Kit says that if I can come up with an ad campaign that everybody likes he's willing to double the ad budget. With that hope I submit for your opinion my latest work.

Let's hear it...what do you think?

...the General's Medals are mounted in inverse order. Otherwise, easily worth doubling the budget (but, 2 times ZERO is.....?)

Dagnabit...you're right....I'm going to push and see if I can get that cheap SOB to triple the budget. :D

Where do I inlist,I can't afford a teenage queen anyway. :D
Great job Phil.

Phil, I like it. But, you should have Kit quadruple that budget for you. Nice Model 16. Is it yours?

:D :D :D

thats great, but dont you think you coulda gotten a better looking model???? :p

BTW-Kit was in the Army, not the french foreign legion!!!

...and how'd you get those bullet holes so evenly spaced? Is there a story about how those kevlar slabs saved your life on the battlefields of the Brooklyn Navy Yard?
MtMike

Damn, but that knife looks familiar for some reason.

Nice ad!!!! Wife's Uncle George(as in Patton!) is spinning 90MPH in his grave right now! :D

Definitely a Janitor-in-a-Drum size case of WHUP-A$$!!!

Re: even spaced holes - difference between Lightnin' & fermented coconut juice!!

KWM - Carlin? WAHAHAHAHA!!! Nah, Kit doesn't have as salty a mouth as George does :p

Phil - LMAO!! Keep up the great work, buddy!

I do have a couple thoughts though. First I would change the wording from “...want is an M16” to “...wants an M16”. The second way is the way it would be jodied.

Second I am a little confused by the “whup-ace” cabin/truck. I could be missing something but it seems to detract from the overall image. Moreover the tank barrel is too “in line” with the right edge of the cabin roof. They blend in together. Since I don’t really get why the cabin is in there in the first place I’d just take it out and un-clutter the picture.

Those two admittedly nit-picky things aside, thats a great image. I really like it.

It was probably before your time, but the cabin is actually Kit's Mobile Home. At one time Kit got into a skirmish with another knife maker, ( I think his name was Maypo or something, I heard he later got eaten by a shark in a surfing accident). Well, anyway Kit outfitted his mobile home for a ampibious assault on Hawaii. Once landed on the beach he mounted the turret for one of his tanks on top, to put a hurtin on his (now digested) nemesis.

So, clutter or not, the cabin stays. ;)

I agree about your text change. it would make it sound more Jodie.

Phil,
Sorry I haven't gotten back with you. It looks okay, but is there any other ideas?
I think we might be able to triple the 0 (zero) budget. :)

Ummmm........

I'm afraid that advertising in this forum is prohibited.

Please refrain from posting future ads on this forum.

Thank you.

:p :D
