Oh I'm sorry, I didn't think of that. I figured 'mod' would be considered tinkering or embellishment. Thanks! How can I get it moved without double posting?
 
Your reasoning is fine. There's just a whole SAK forum here. I would probably have done the same thing.

Yeah, it really does seem the best place, and is not your fault at all. I would just check out existing mod threads in the Multi-tools subforum, as you don't need to wait for results.
