I recently acquired my grail mistress Cupid 22 and have a question. I know the scale material is a pretty odd bird and info on it seems to be rather scarce. From what I can gather it's a composite wood cut on the opposite grain that composite woods are commonly cut on. Anyone else have a Busse blade with this material? I would love to see any and all "unique" scales out there! And Thanks in advance!

This one arrived in my first grab bag. She has a new home now. Not sure how unique it is, but it isn't real common.

First one is very cool, never seen that before. Kinda makes me dizzy when I look at it close. Second one is gorgeous. What is that, orange mammoth or something?

My FFBM has red coral scales! They are really cool!

Just did an image search on 'Mammoth tooth' and now I understand it better...
not sure how many of these colors are natural vs, dyed, but I can see how the pattern is used in the handle...

Here ya go.
Sorry, flash took a crap, so you get different lighting.
