Post some pics of your old workhorses. Here is a Rada paring knife that belonged to my grandmother. It still sees regular use.

Here is my Marble Expert...used, abused, and somewhat tattooed (by rust). I know many people would simply scrap something like this but I knew it could be more...

The Sebe dosn't look too shaby but it is well used!!!

Nice Mini Auto Stryker. I have one just like it but with a modified drop point. You can see that mine has not had a lot of use but I'll put it up anyway.

Thats Cool, lots of use out of that good old boy. bet that made some good apple pies.

I only recall granma using two knives in the kitchen, a Rada butcher knife for cutting up chicken and that paring knife for everything else. It did contribute to some great cooking.
 
I like using my gear. This was my Kabar that I enjoyed immensely before a scumbag stole it.
