I just found the final bone 110 from the 1990-91 run. The DM's are much more common these days and maybe were the majority of the production. One thing is for sure...These five 110's feel like Custom Shop knives!!

These are some great looking knives.
Gordon, have you used any of the Damascus knives ? They look really cool, but I'm curious what the thoughts are on it for sharpening and edge retention.

I haven't really used any of the early '90 carbon damascus. I had thought to but snotwad wanted the knife pretty bad so I sold it to him. Those three above, I intend to keep in as new condition.

The Devin Thomas 110's I have have not got enough use for me to rate with a lot of confidence. I've only sharpened a couple of them once each if I recall correctly. With that experiance alone, I'd say something close to Buck's 420HC maybe slightly better.

Frankly, that's a real good question...where does Buck's two Damascus rate with other steels in edge holding? We know they cut like no tomorrow!!!

Thanks. I don't blame you for keeping those as new. They are great looking knives. It would be nice to pick one up, that someone else has already broken in :D so a person wouldn't feel guilty about using it.
I've always admired Damascus, but have yet to own any. Thats why I was curious

You guys have some sweet knives...

Jb, is that 119 from BP??? Nice... I really like that BP N/S 110 Bone...
