I wish Gerber would add HQ versions of the Mark I and Guardian back into their regular production like the old days. They are some awesome knives.
Question: What's the steel on the Aitor Botero? I've looked around before and I can't seem to find an answer.
Love me some Mk-I

Also have an old Kershaw Amphibian, which is cool, but never see's any use. It's up on the current PIF thread - someone should claim it!

Nice, man! The Gerber mk1 is my favorite dagger. You can probably see that from the pictures.
I'd gladly claim it but I got nothing to offer up right now so it wouldn't be right.
I assume you mean the Kershaw.... the Mk-I isn't going anywhere! It, and the 1911 in the photo have too much sentimental value.
I did for years and wouldn't mind having it back. But that will never happen, given that the handle material, since after the sale of the dagger, is no longer legal to transfer in any way, at least in the US.Do you own that beauty?!?!

How much did it originally cost you?

Man I've been seeing a few Steingass after your post and they are SWEET. Way above what I would pay for a knife but sweet nontheless. I like his idea for tip strength.

For the Miller Bros, it would be nice if they had a mini version of the M24:

If I don't get the job I'm looking at by around the 15th, whatever I have to settle for will not pay for a Steingass. Fingers crossed! I love my knives.
Acording to Aceros de Hispania they call it X42 which is 46 CR 13:

Good luck with that, man. What kind of job are you looking to get?
Thanks Man, have you used and sharpened yours? If so, what's it like to sharpen?
