nice, what did you guys use to flame them?

@ CM, any effect on the hardness on that edge?

I'm guessing that Charlie Mike's looks that way partially because the edge has been carbidized.

i did mine a a gas stove, a torch wouldve been better i didnt have one at the time. i just polished it and heated the around the edges.

im not sure of the actual temp, i just held the edges to the flame until it glowed bright red, i did small sections at a time and worked my way around the perimeter to keep the center the bronze color and purple on the edge.

im thinking about doing a Sage2 in the near future.

just finished my first ti flame job... did it here in the office just a few minutes ago! LOL!!!
its not hard at all, took me about 2min. just heat up the TI red hot to get blue :). gonna go home and flame a knife! which one which one?

EDIT: for those who are wondering, i used some steel wire and an iwatani butane torch... creme brulee anyone? :D

BTW, be careful when you flame the liner/frame that has the detent ball as the heat can open up the hole and let the detent ball go bye-bye.
