So, I'm going to be making a hammer rack. After a thread on another forum where someone saw the mess of hammers I had in the background laying around on my garage floor and stuff, I went into the garage and rounded up all the hammers and punches and swages and cutters I have and got them all in one spot..

Iv'e got a ton of hammers. If I include flatters, punches, top swages, and hot cutters... and get rid of my claw hammers for nailing things together... iv'e got 73 hammers .

Lets see everyone's hammer racks so I can get ideas of what to build for the best rack for my shop!

Also intrested in seeing what hammers people have accumulated over the years.

I've only got one, a geologists specimen hammer whuch had the rubber handle grip burnt off during the fire that burnt the old car shed down and the spike at the rear trimmed witht he angle grinder to form a ball pein, and my anvils just an old 4 Lb sledge head wedged in a hole in a 3 foot high section of tree trunk.

well i dont have many hammers but heres a pic of my hammer rack. part of it is a 2x4 shoved inot a cinder block with pieces of cedar wedged int it to make it stand up and i have a weldong rod pouch nailed to it with my 3 main hammers. then in the other hole in the cinder block i just stuck my other hammers like my ball peens and my 1lb sledge.
