I just bought a NMFBM the other day and it was suppose to arrive yesterday and USPS failed me... BOO!!! Anywho... Lets see these battle beasts! Users, Safe Queens.. Something to get me by.... I love to hear stories about em too!! I want to hear and see all!!

Left is my beater, it's almost mirror polished. Right is brand new.

Got this yesterday

And the polished user. She's a beast! I had to thin out the edge for her to be able to out chop my kukri.
 
They are beauties!! Thank you!! You put the mirror polish by hand or belt grinder? Can't wait to get mine...

And how much did you have to thin the edge down?
 
I used sand paper by hand.
400 800 1000 2000 3000 4000 5000 and mother metal polish.

The edge I thinned with water stones and polished with 8000 grit stone.

Then stroped on jeans to blend edge with blade.
Lotta work, but she's pretty and ready to destroy.

Here ya go, Justin. Didn't know you were into big blades too. Had a few of them, but here the last one left, with its big buddy.

NMFBM love all the way! It's a beast of a blade and can be used for so many things :D I never thought to use it as a pizza cutter though :thumbup: Guess I know what I will be using during the next pizza party at the shop! :D
