Hello, everyone,
I occasionally carry this miniature bowie (made by Dan Certo, relentless knives), as a user,
it works pretty well and is very sharp, the knife is blued, and it was made from railroad spike steel (I think), so it might be a little soft compared to other, but it has so far kept it's edge very well.
My only complaint is that it's a just a hair too thin, but I like more than some others. ENJOY!!!!, and have a great weekend.

Ansø Small Sheepsfoot and "Nasty Necker". Carry either one ore the other on a daily basis as a pocket knife! (Kydex sheath, sometimes with a static cord)

Both are made from RWL-34 steel and handrubbed. OAL is around 4,5" for the Sheepsfoot and 6" for the Nasty Necker!

Here is the one I made to keep on my keychain in a kydex sheath. It is talonite with carbon fiber scales. I really should take a better picture one of these days.

This thing really is pretty tiny at about 2" overall length.

I really like that Tiny Raindrop and am in the que to have something similar made in a few months. I've been looking for a pocket fixed blade to carry for awhile now and Jason makes some really nice looking knives.

My Straight Personal comes with a belt sheath but I often just drop it in my pocket, fits nicely.

Don't get much "use" out of this one, but it is a true "pocket knife", no sheath required. Jim Ferguson twist nickel damascus, mammoth ivory, rosewood, circa 1995.

I've wanted an Anso for a while now.

A good many years ago my wife went on a shopping binge and got everyone in the family one of the mini pals from Cold Steel. I liked it but don't care much for serrations so I made my own from an old sidewalk edger blade. It is slightly larger and thicker than the one I used as a format. Later I made a dangle leather sheath with a karabiner for my key ring. Them sidewalk edger blades are some pretty good steel. Not sure what it is, but it holds an edge, and is tough as I could have hoped for. This little jewel cuts bigger than it looks. Been a handy little knife.

I put elk antler scales on it and made the original sheath, pictured here out of the same antler. I drilled out a slot, for the blade to sit and then filled it with dental impression material of a polyvinyl type rubber base material. I covered the blade in vasoline and then jammed it into the impression material and let it set. The result once the material set up was a perfectly contoured impression of the knife so it sat there inside just right. The polyvinyl forms a suction when the knife is inserted into the sheath. I covered the top and bottom with brass plate and carried it that way for a good long while. When I stopped using this sheath it was only because I liked the thinness of the leather one better. This one still works pretty good for a neck knife though.

3" Forged, faux tortise shell and nickle silver :)
She rides in a flat paddle sheath, inside jacket pocket. Or in my 5.11 pants pocket.
Thanks Bruce!

Hi,

Here's a little piece by Fred Perrin that fits nicely in pocket or as a neck knife:

those are pretty nice - i'll have to look into bark river knives, that one is pretty sweet. as are the ansø knives, very stylish.
my pocket fixed blade is one i've recently finished. blade is ground from a file; handle is some soft wood, i think poplar, treated with linseed oil & then clear polyurethane. it's not a full-tang blade, has a "rat tail" tang (is that the correct term?) and is epoxied in place. it's my third attempt at knife-making.
i'll post a pic as soon as i can, perhaps my scanner will work.
peace.

This Hak straight has a 2inch blade and are custom made to fit
the first two fingers of one's hand.

Don Cowles not only a beautiful knife, but the pocket carry system is exceptional. Oh - it cuts very well also.
