I was gonna post a couple of my prybars but I saw ronybear's post and knew nothing we post is gonna top what he's bringing to the table!!!:foot:

Oh they are so gorgeous! Especially ronybear's 0.42"!!! Is custom shop the only way to get them that fat?

Sarcasm is easily lost when you go from thoughts/words to text. I was wondering why he was showing such skinny INFI on is "pry bar" request thread.

All of my Busse knives are pry bars, I don't have anything particularly thin.

My only thin piece of Infi was my red/black handled BAD. It some how magically transformed into a CG Ash 1, which is a pry bar.

I thought Guyon was being sarcastic but any chance to get to show my little fatty, I will take it. Yes, the only way to get one this thick is through the Custom Shop and I kinda doubt you can get one even then. It took me three years and a lot of extra encouragement to Jerry. But thanks, I am glad if any of you like it, it is definitely one of my favorites!

Why's that? Was he not convinced that a blade of that thickness was a good idea?

Also, I thought getting work done through the custom shop was always a matter of years...

Fatty all the way! The blades made by VG10, ZDP189, S30V, etc, are doing well in slicing paper, meat, and vegetable so they are widely employed by folders and kitchen knives. Because the carbide they have, their edge retention at small edge angle is quite well. Yet when we enter the rough & tough zone, even the well-respected Fallkniven A2 laminated VG10 blade is chipping prone while it is used for batoning oriented tasks. In the impact intensive HOG world, fat INFI is the King.
