so... you want a strider...just because of the name???

not because its a tank, not because strider backs up their knives... but because his name happens to be Strider ?

why dont give this strider a try then. :p

I'm just palying with you. If you really want to see some pics of Striders, take a look the forum linked to on their website. Some really good pics in the galleries!

This "Find a knockoff"-game starts to become ridiculous, but maybe it's just me... ;)

Ya, but ALL of the other ones listed look somewhat like a Strider. Yours don't. Must not be as easy as what you'd think.:)

Here's a picture of my Buck Strider, with a Kershaw Speed/Spec Bump...

I agree that the MTech is a knockoff, but the others look different enough for me.
The Böker Plus for example: Böker has used tanto blades in folders before (H&K series), the flipper has been used with the EFD, and the only thing that looks almost similar to a Strider is one angle at the end of the grip.

The others are just striped. (well, the Buck isn't really striped if you take a close look) As if stripes were invented by Strider...

thanks all the real pictures are great, oil man that is quite a collection you have there.......no one has any fixed blades.....I think im gonna get a couple of Buck-Strider Collaboration folders and a Strider fixed balde

ohh ya what is the purpose of the "diamond-stone like " texture above the grind on the Buck Strider Military in JPD1998's picture, i think ive seen it on regular striders too.

They're for a better grip while choked up on the blade. I don't recall ever seeing them on a real Strider but I may be wrong.

This is my first strider and bought it in Japan for about 370 dollars. Much expensive than in US?:(
