Just got these two today, really loving the wooden handles lately

I only have one wooden handled slipjoint, the BFC 2010 Forum Knife.

I do have a few fixed blades with wooden handles, including these puukkos.

Older (1972) Buck 112 with differnt colors on each side. Like owing two knives, if you get tired of one side, turn it over.

Pretty knife there. My very first rifle was an old Remington 700 that had wood just about that color and tint. Matter of fact I picked it out of the lineup at the local sporting goods store because of the wood.

I dropped this one twice today. Once on concrete and once on tile. I had it in my shirt pocket which I never really do and both times I was picking up trash off the ground and it fell onto the wood slabs. Im surprised it didn't crack or do more damage then a tiny pin point sized dent.

I have tons of wood handles knives, just not so many traditional slipjoints.

I love this thread! I recently decided that most purchases from this point on will be wood, when I realized how few wood folders I have in comparison to the tons (not quite literally) of wood I have stored for making knives or other crafts. I think I only have one ebony and one red palm knife (forgot my Tham/Txwoodchip Briar burp swayback) as far as traditionals go, I'll try to check tonight and get a picture up.

By the way Doug- I agree wholly on the Lloyd Rosewood!!! ;)

Here is one picture with the Briar and Palm from photobucket

Here's an older Ken Coats Toothpick in stabilized California Buckeye burl, a GEC in Schnakewood and, for something a little different, a Dan Graves dagger in fluted African Blackwood.
