So I'm curious, are there many people who have customized their CRKs after-market? I mainly see ones with graphics/designs from the factory, but rarely ever customized by a 3rd party customizer such as those found on the BF custom shop.

So if you have an aftermarket customized CRK - Let's see it!

From many years ago and long since sold off;

Sorry, but that was the only photo I could find and I had to grab it off the net. My photo's were lost with a crashed computer

Wow that's awful.. very sorry to hear about that. Its always a fear of mine that it will happen to me. I finally picked up an external drive to try keep a back-up copy of most of my pictures, but there's never a complete guarantee.

I put a hematite cabochon in mine. It is a comparatively minor modification.

Sorry, no photo account, but it's not particularly amazing.

Falco! Who knew! So beautiful! I know it sounds like heresy to say this on any of the BF CRK forums, but... I never have liked the plane Jane slab sided Sebenza's. There, I said it. Holding my breath as some might be hefting stones to stone me with! Lol
But after seeing what you had done with that plane Jane Sebenza has just sparked a wave of ideas! That is a super cool mod to the knife! I am not much into modifying knife too much but that is just perfect!
How difficult was it to to get that artist to engrave you knife? I would really appreciate some info. PM me it you would like to.
Meanwhile, after I post this reply to you I will contribute to this thread by posting one of my engraved Mnandi's

Thanks for the insipriation my friend! 👍🏻

Absolutely stunning! So pretty I had to put my sunglasses on to keep from being blinded by the bling! 😎

Perhaps the only way that a perfectly designed knife can be made even more beautiful!

Wondering is it more difficult or easier to engrave titanium than other metals?

Wow! Good job! I would be terrified to attempt that! Good on you mate!
And I like the T model Shirogorov too! I have one also! What blade is on it?
s90v without jimping. It's indeed a very fine knife. I was a bit terrified as well, it was very hard too do the mountains with the band grinder. Bad I'm pleased with the result.

It's much harder to engrave titanium. I've tried it with manual tools and failed to do so. You definitely need a power tool/ engraver to engrave titanium.

I am kind of embarrassed to post this little Mnandi after seeing what Falco and Lisantica posted. Those knives are just over the moon! Mine is just kinda out in the backyard.

And many of you have already seen one of these. I now have one in all the current patterns of damascus.

But I still love the subtlety of it. Ahhhh....

Cajun Blade, the combination of engraving and damascus is great. Where do you get the engraving done?
