There has been lots of "Let's see your (blank) Busse" threads over the course of time, but since I'm still waiting on my Ganza blades, and therefore have nothing new to show off
, that for a little twist on a classic, "Let's see what you beat on your INFI with"
.
First up is my biggest, baddest, beatin' bat. It's about 18" long, and 4.5x3" wide block of black walnut that I got from the local lumber store's "odd shaped piece" bin a couple years ago. It had a nice club shaped taper to it, so I bought, brought it home, and shaved down a handle on it (with INFI of course). It's the big guns that come out when there's an extra tough knot, or I just feel like using something with some overkill.
Then I've got a couple rubber mallets, the first is a black rubber $3 cheapy that was on sale at the hardware store that has actually help up amazingly well, especially considering a lot of my knives are swedged. It is a bit too light sometimes thought to get a really good impact, so I also have a slightly heavier Estwing rubber mallet that has been working quite well, but I've only been using it for 6 months or so.

So post 'em up boys and girls! Let's see your batons!
