Lets see how you display your collection. We've done this before so I would encourage anyone who has participated in the past to take up to date photos since things change.

Here is my current set up. Just got this cabinet to display my knives but its not big enough, so things look much tighter and messier then I wish they could.. Oh well. BTW- these knives are not kept at my legal address.

Here is the cabinet next to a bowie:

Very nice. You seem to have a great eye for quality . . . and a fondness for ivory.

But I don't think I see all of the Hancock fancy hunters there . . . just ALMOST all of them!!! :) Congrats.

I know of three others out there. There are supposed to be more but I only know of the older mammoth hunter, a musk ox hunter and the recent blackwood hunter.

Anyone have photos of your displays?? I am more trying to see displays then show off my collection. Kevin, Jon, Peter?? I know you have them =)

your displays are sweet, Jon. I'm more of a 'keep em in a box' guy, but that will be changing soon...

I forgot about that sweet little Josh Smith fighter of yours - nice to see it again. Nice display and terrific blades!

Nice job there, Jon! It is nice to see you have your great collection out where it can be enjoyed.

And, I like how the cream rises to the top. That DH III fighter has always fascinated me.

Great looking displays of fine knives.
Always like to see knives displayed for folks to appriciate.

Okay, I'll share one shelf with you'll. This shelf contains knives by Doug Casteel, Stephen Olszewski, Bailey Bradshaw, Franz Huetzler and Tom Ferry.

Marcel, that Bradshaw is an incredible piece. That folding dagger is amazing. I just found the pic of it on your site. RIGHT up my alley!

Jon, what a cool looking display area you have come up with... The knives are excellent examples of each makers work... My favorite was what you came up for the push dagger.. That really gave me an idea for some of my favorites... Thanks for showing us your displays... Best, Rich

Rich, that case that Jon is using to display the push dagger looks to be one by Forrest Case Company in the Ozarks . Jon, please correct me if I'm wrong. I have a few extras myself. Maybe I could part with one gratis, Rich.

Yup Forrest Bogg. I trust them more then similar random cases on the net.

I want to hang that case on the wall, I just have to figure out how and where.

Yeah, there was a time when that's all I seemed to buy, so always have a few extras. Forrest's stuff is consistent and he offers upgraded wood at a reasonable upgrade price. Good choice.

OK, here you go Jon. These are older photos that have been posted before and with acquisitions and selling a few pieces my current displays are basically the same with some different knives. Jon you may recognize several pieces that you now own including the Hancock Hunters. I enjoy making displays from wood and Whitetail, Elk and Moose Antler. The clear cubes are custom made and offer protection from the elements and security.
Buying-selling-investing-creating displays-collecting, it's all part of the fun for me.

As previously mentioned, Forrest Boggs really offers some very reasonably priced options for displaying custom knives:
