I missed snapping a Cotton tail today. I stopped to hang a rat, looked over and there was Peter. Camera in case hanging on chest. What do I do ? I unsnap the hatchet sheath and raise back to launch it at the rabbit, lol. He took off when my swing was in the apex.

A couple of years back I came across a buck that jammed its rack between trees. Then coyotes ate it from the arse to the neck.

Over the last month or so, I’ve been having some major renovation work done on my house. This has meant that I haven’t been able to travel around much, just on short day trips. Obviously with all the noise and mess I’ve gone out as much as I can though. These pics don’t have the majesty of real wilderness, but they’re all taken within a few miles (sometimes less) of one of England’s largest cities. Apologies once again for the poor quality of my camera.
