Folks that like Gerber Knives on the forum are few I know. But I like them and in 30 years I have never had one fail me or break. I know this thread will end up being people discussing how much they hate them and would not spend money on them. Folks will talk about buying other brands that are better and so on. I have Kershaw, Bucks, Case, CRKT, and others but I still like Gerbers too. I will base my opinion on my own experience with them, which has been good. They are affordable and I think well designed for the everyday person and beyond.

So for y'all that have Gerbers and like them let's see them

I have a few Gerbers. I also owned at one point the 06 Tanto and the DPSF in s30v.My favorite one is actually the Gerber tech skin. I like being able to keep it in my pocket with my cell phone and not worry about scratching the device. I wish they made it in a larger version. The other knives are Ok as well, one issue with all of them is a weak detent, as if you are not careful to ensure the blades are fully closed, the tip sometimes can stick a bit out of the handle. All except the tech skin have this issue to some degree. Still, I would buy Gerber again in the future if the designs interest me.

I was issued this along with a flashlight for my current project here in Charleston. I think it is a Gerber Mini Swagger, decent enough little knife.

I don't care for them, but I fully acknowledge that they work just fine for occasional box opening and such. I wouldn't look down on anyone I met who carried one in the wild, unless I had to listen to, "yeah, Gerber is pretty much the best..."

I don't have pics of most of my knives, but I do have quite a few Gerbers. I've had very mixed results with their folders, but really dig a lot of their fixed blades. I would carry my Prodigy or Yari II as a "go to war" knife, no question, and although I think Gerber's Chinese knives have some pretty questionable QC, the Kiowa folder is very nice.
