I'm curious as to what the blade edge looks like on your most used Becker. Maybe it is your oldest BK or your hardest worked. I want to see what 1095 crovan looks like after a lot of use and sharpening.

Give a little background on the pics you post! How long have you had the knife? How hard does it get used? How do you care for the knife?

I shall abstain from posting any pics to avoid getting laughed at for the lack of wear on my Beckers.....

Bk14
I've had it for maybe 2 years now. I've been edcing it for the majority of that. I've done from food prep to batoning to cutting boxes and cord... Hammered stuff with it. Hahah, just about put it through every pace except batoning other metals with it.. The care I do is oil it up if I see a rusty spot but as it is not my center focus food prep I don't generally mind if there is a little rust that hangs out... I actually see it as character and it doesn't bother me at all. So basically every couple weeks/ month I'll take off the scales and oil up the whole thing but if it's come in contact with a lot of water I'll use whatever oil on hand (olive-coconut-mineral) and wipe off the excess.

I only have pictures after I prettied mine back up after using them :(

Here's the BK2

Here's my EDC BK11 (with the other EDC's)

Both have seen a good amount of use, but still have a long way to go before I consider stripping them :D

TBL, prettied up is totally fine. I don't need to see a nasty edge, I'm wondering about a really well used blade. You delivered!

Its been to hell and back and currently has a few dings in the edge.......but this bad boy takes a crazy razor edge after just a few passes on the sander no matter how bad it gets beat on. Love me some 2!!!

Snakebreaker, you have to tell me about that sheath rig!

Love seeing the pics, guys. I really expected to see some beat up/well loved big choppers. Makes sense that the little guys (excluding the bk2's) get more regular use, though.

I have about 25 feet of paracord......a fire steel and zip ties. The para cord and fire steel are pretty standard. However......I believe zip ties are one of the most overlooked and unused items one can pack with almost no effect to weight and amount of space taken up.

Help a dumby out! I'm thinking of zip ties for lashing things or maybe tarp applications, but what else?
