I have only one, and will start this thread with it.

It's a USA made 'Shur-Lock' 1950's era all stainless steel folding fishing knife.
It doesn't show any signs of ever having been used, only having scuffs here and there that seem to likely come from it's storage and handling during the past 70 or so years of it's existence. It's cutting edge looks to be totally factory.
What makes it unique is it's blade locking system. It obviously never took off, but it is a part of knife history now. I would say that it is not only unique, but actually checks the boxes for also being odd and rare... About as rare as hen's teeth! 😁

I have tried doing more online researching of it, but there were only two other references I could find on it. One was simply a long past ebay selling of one, and another I found on another forum that had a member posting what little he knew about the one he had purchased too.
Again, it's one of those odd/rare pieces of knife history that seems to have all but faded away.

Although, the patent drawing below was found easy enough, since I simply googled the patent number that is stamped into the spine of the knife's handle.

So, yes, if you have a knife that fits in at least one of the odd, unique, or rare categories, please share it here with us 👍
