Let's see, we have green, we have ebony, we have stag, et al, so let's have a foto thread on orange scaled traditional knives.:)

Alright why not? I wouldn't want an orange car (hot in the 70s in Europe though :barf: ) but it can work well as a knife scale.

Here's a flat bolster Northfield 73, the edges match the cut of the bone in a bevel effect.

Uh oh!:foot: ah well, perhaps a merger is on the cards?

In the meantime, if you want breakfast juice, you need to cut these.

Gosh, I really do dislike the search function here...searched many pages for such a thread, and never found that other one. Might as well merge this, close it, or make it disappear....:(

I am one!:D

But seriously, a very nice knife those CASE Humpbacks with good details like sunk-joints and a cut-out for the nail nick. Oh and Orange too:thumbup:

Regards, Will

Uh oh. I ate the evidence (the oranges, not the knife) long ago. ;) I agree that they're great knives. I hope Case keeps the pattern in production.

What brand is that knife? Marbles?

You Bet!

Now let's GIVE IT AWAY!

#1) Post a picture of your Orange covered traditional folder or fixed blade in this thread. Your own picture.

#2) Have your photo in by the end of the day Thursday 13th August. Winner announced 14th August and picked by my wife in whatever manner she chooses.

#3) Be over 18 years old and assume any and all liability for any injury, knife law violation, or loss arising from acceptance of said knife.

This is a seemingly well built knife and the main blade opens quite easily - a 5 or so. The rest? Forget about it. You need a blade pick to get them open (except for the philips head - you can get your finger underneath that one). I do have a younger friend that can open all except the can opener with his nails. They are 9 or 10's.

Let's see your orange!
