For me, perfect is a blend of ergos, durability and quality. These 3 do it for me- they are the Swamp Rat Camp Tramp, Koyote EDC Convex and Para 2.

These ones are just about perfect...especially the Koyote, Weiner Dog and Battle Rat...and Muk...and War Dog. Jeez, truth be told, they are all awesome blades! ;):D

What is perfection for you all?

These 2: Spyderco Bushcrafter and a Blind horse knives bushcrafter with thinner handle slabs.
Even though the handles are different, both have awesome ergonomics for my hands. The Spyderco is my favorite scandi , and the BHK is my my favorite flat grind. I have a lot more that I like, but those two knives are in the top 5 of a few grand worth of choices I have.

Every knife I've seen from Murray Carter has been 'perfect', but of course, some are favored more than others. Amazing to hold, a dream to sharpen, and pure joy to use.

I'm using the first one to strip copper wiring right now, actually.

For the money the RC-6 still fits me the best of any camp knife I've used. Only customs costing much more match up.

Izula - Just really love the blade and the handle, and having the fixed blade is nice. Nothing against folders really but as far as cleaning and stuff goes, I like the simplicity of a fixed blade, just one piece of steel. Obviously it's also very durable.

"Needs Work" - The blade on this one is also one of the main attractions to me for this knife. It has an extremely fine tip and a thin hollow grind. Very good slicer. I like the Assisted Opening, but it also works good manually too, and I think the handle shape is probably the most comfortable of all of them for long chores.

Kulgera - I like the S30V, and the knife has a very thin profile, but mostly it's the AXIS lock that I love about it. It's just so convenient to open and close quickly. I also like the satin finish on the blade, and overall it's a nice looking knife too and I can kind of get away with it as a "gentlmen's folder".

The Busse Steel Heart (this one is a custom shop version of the ergo-handled Zero Tolerance model) combines great ergonomics with good size, light(-ish) weight, and all the benefits of INFI. The other is a TAD Gear Special (TGS) from Tom Krein. It has a 4" blade of razor sharp D2 and an excellent multi-use handle and blade shape.

Some nice knives here! I went to Murray Carter's website and wow!

I like what gak said "fits me the best"...good summary of what I think about when a knife clicks for me.

Hard to beat that first Carter that Somber posted. Looks awesome.

For me, the victorinox Soldier is the perfect knife. I use it all the time, for lots of things. For me, it's just perfect.

The S90V Para-Military2 with carbon fiber scales and the compression lock.
Great medium folder with a flat ground blade.

My RJ Martin Dress Havoc. My hand molds to this knife like no other. The blade has a high hollow grind that slices like you wouldn't believe. The CF overlays adds contouring and extra grip while acting as a lock stop, but your hand still keeps the lockbar in place during use. I love this knife.

Until my M390 Para2 comes in, I'm going to stick with these:

ScrapYard War Dog, Spyderco Manix2 in FFG M4, and VIC Huntsman. A perfect combination of perfect knives:
