I was groupin' knives in my collection/accumulation as I often do, ya know all the Traditionals together, all the Tacticals together or maybe all the metal scaled one... ya get my drift.

So today outta curiosity after I pulled an FRN Syderco Mini Dyad out to cut up an apple I started wonderin' how many plastic handled knives do I have? It can't be that many, so i do a quick 10 minute search and count, to my amazement I counted over 65 knives with handle/scales of some type of plastic orsynthetic scale material, (here's a quick pic of 'em all tossed into my S&W 9MM case, I'll spread 'em out as I get more time and post 'em all here.

Here's a pic of the box to give ya some kinda idea.

Let's see your plastic, I'm curious as to what ya'll carry and I like seein' pics of any knife anyway, so show 'em off here.

BTW all the knives in the box are some sort of plastic or synthetic and IIRC my first modern post 70 knife was a Gerber LST.

Good thread idea. I'm too tired to take a pic right now but i will get mine out tomorrow and post a pic.

ditto. I'll try tomorrow.
FWIW, G10, carbon fiber, and phenolic are also "plastic", fiber reinforced plastic. But I think I'll leave those out of my pic.

Here's some Swiss plastic.

Just an old picture I already had uploaded. If I put all my synthetic handled knives together, I'd need a ladder to get a picture, and you wouldn't be able to make out anything by the time it was reduced by the uploader.

I apologize for the terrible pic, i will try to take a better one later.

The sixth knife on the up on the left row is actually bone. All of the knives below that one are ccc along with the one to the right of it.

BTW What's The knife with the worn pocket clip in the upper left had corner with all of the traditionals? It looks kind of like a Warren Thomas.

Good eye, it's a warren Thomas/Beretta Avenger, 1st generation.

These pics were taken when it was brand new.

My first edition Beretta Avenger, a collaboration between the Master of Carbon Fiber Edged Weapons, Warren Thomas and Beretta.

It's made of CF with a laminated CF VG-10 blade, it's super light, super fast and wicked sharp.

I need to update my Winterbottom photo, I've aquired several more since that one was taken. I have one of those 6260s as well, and I often wonder what it was for. I mean, what do you need a 4"+ spey blade for, neutering elephants?

What the heck. Here's an updated Winterbottom Delrin pic.

And since I had them out anyway, Winterbottom bone.

im liking that folding hunter in the top right, who makes those and where can i get one?

All of the knives in the last 2 pictures have been Queen Cutlery. One of the folding hunters was purchased on eBay in the last three years, the other I've had so long I don't even remember where I got it.

Hey Jack, the name of the thread is Show me your plastic, I see some bone in there... ;) :)

I love those old Winterbottom Bone Queens.

My LST Jr. Also my first knife. Disregard the two on the right. They're made of "real" stuff.
