So I've become a big fan of around 3 inch bladed knives. For me its the sweet spot between utility and pocketability. Its big enough for most chores yet wont go
scaring the crap out of grandma. A solid 3 inches of cutting edge is all you need IMO. So if your a fan of small knives, 3 inches and under, lets see some pics.

My trusty EDC for most situations is my mini Wilkins Ritter Grip in M390.
The mini Emerson CQC-7 is my newest grab. Modded by Nathuwut.
And the Northwoods Fremont is my gentleman blade. Everything about this knife is perfect.

Dude that Ritter is sweet!

The only knives I have that are under 3in are on my Leathermans and stockmans. 3.5 is right about the sweet spot for me.

I did carry a dragonfly g10 for awhile. It's a great knife, I just like the extra reach of a longer blade. It helps opening boxes on the high shelves at work.

This one's just over 3 inches.

My sweet spot is a folder with a 3" blade, a 4" handle and a weight of 3 ounces or less. Some of my favorites in this size range are knives with which most BF members are familiar . . . the Kershaw Leek, Benchmade Mini-Grip, Small Sebenzas, William Henrys and the like. My favorite flipper in this size is a little less well known. It's the Rod Olson Quick Flick. I make no pretense at being a photographer, so here are a couple of borrowed pics:

Wish they would make more flippers in the 3inch size. That new ZT 0900 looks pretty sweet. Def need more ti framelock bearing flippers in teh 3inch arena.

I've said it before, but I'll say it again: "TOPS Knives, Lil Roughneck"

My apple splitting maul. :p

Not the best slicer, but having a knife that's (damn near) unbreakable is more important to me. It also makes a big impression on the occasional person who asks to borrow my knife.

"Hey buddy. Do ya have a knife I can borrow?"

"Sure!" THUNK

"Whoa!"

D2 Rat 3. Slices like crazy. Looks new still since it is my edc for general use when out and about. My work edc sees the hard use.

Poorly lit cellphone pic follows. The two on the right I've carried in the past. The two on the left are current, along with a wharncliffe Minimalist (CRKT version). Sometimes a Chive.
