So if you had to pick a collaboration between a production knife company, and a custom knife maker, who would they be? And why?

I'd choose Andrew Demko for his triad lock and sturdy designs. Then I'd choose zero tolerance for their great blade shapes(IMO), great quality control, and their innovative mindset.

I can see a collaboration like this making a very nice, quality, rugged folder. Look how much Demko has helped out cold steel, just imagine what would happen to zero tolerance.

search the forum. You will find a few threads that have the same info you are asking for...

I'd like to see an Emerson/ZT collab. I'm imagining a CQC6 with a 4.5" blade ground from 3/16" stock with a wave and no assisted opening. Locking side would be 3/16" Ti and presentation side would be a one piece Ti liner with integral bolsters and G10 scale.

rick hinderer and benchmade...... i want a 915 with a spanto. the 915 is a great firefighters knife but it does not have a hard use blade shape. i want a hybrid of the spanto/ sheeps foot so it is safe for cutting patients out of cars and strong enough to use as a pry tool.

Zero Tolerance and Scott Gossman. I'd love to see that. Folding super UNK or Tusker. CPM154 or S35VN.

Ray Laconico folder and Benchmade, maybe? Maybe Ray and Spyderco?

Tony or Reese Bose and Great Eastern (is that heresy)

Ethan Becker & Doug Ritter------oh, wait, thats been done. Ethan Becker & KaBar------oh, wait, thats been done as well. How about Ethan Becker & Jerry Fisk------darn, thats been done too. How about Ethan Becker & Hank Reinhardt -------that happened as well. Why ? To produce hard use blades at a working mans wage.

Nevermind ! LOL :D
