Hey everyone, I searched but nothing came up about knife storage nor a thread showing peoples rigs.

As my knife collection grows and I buy nicer knives I have decided I want to get something to store my knives in. I thought about the spyderco bag but think I want to go with a hard case with foam inside. I want something to protect my knives from: dust, sun and even moisture or at least being out exposed in the open.

I also thought, hey since we have a few threads about EDC knives and what not why not have one on how we store our knives.

So if you all want to talk or post pictures about how you store your knives I would be very appreciative for the ideas; its also just fun seeing other peoples setups and what not.

Personally I just always have my entire collection on my coffee table. Each morning I accessorize by picking two knives. As for storage to protect your knives, you can find a number of knife collection storage cabinets, drawers, etc, on the bay. I always thought keeping them in a giant tool bench with fabric lining the drawers would be cool. People would walk into my place and be like "wtf that is a lot of tools. Are you a mechanic". "yeah, sure, something like that." Then they open it and find a hundred or so knives :D

Checkout Pelican Cases with tear out foam inserts. So you can make slots to hold your knives. Buy the biggest you can afford. Good Luck

Mine stay in a gun safe even though i have never owned any guns. I'm looking into getting a display case because i just cant stand all of them being hidden from the world :o

There is a drawer in my tool chest for fixed blades and a jewelry drawer in my dresser for folders/edc stuff both lined with Zerust liners. The overflow stays in thier boxes. The Zerust liners have done a great job keeping the rust/corrosion off the non-stainless pieces. It doesn't mess with wood or plastic, but it will turn paper yellow, so there is that to consider.
