LEV-R knives

I guess my affection for the brand (Camillus) prevented me from answering your post about the leverlock knives. Which, in my opinion, is out-dated technology in the quick opening of a folding knife. Lot's of others, including Camillus, have moved on to other, newer, more efficient ways of making such knives snap open faster. There is an old Camillus display at my favorite gunshop with a Lev knife attached by a steel cable for people to try it out. I play with it once in a while and have never liked it.
 
I had one for a little while. I found the little lever action to be fun to use but, sadly, overall the knife wasn't very well made. The lever also made it a bit bulky in my pocket. I gave it to one of my nephews and he seemed thrilled to get it.
