Looking for someone who has the above referenced book. I would like to find out if a Knife Maker by the name of Ken Koy is mentioned in the section Fixed Blade Knives, Custom and Hand made Fixed Blade Knives Section.

Any responses would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, Ken Hoy is mentioned in that section of the book (page 407), but only with "Las Vegas NV"

So no pictures of his knives or any narrative. Just Las Vegas NV. Is this correct? Thanks for taking the time to respond to my
inquiry.

Knives '99 has an address and number for Ken Hoy.
54744 Pinchot Dr., North Fork, CA, 93643
209-877-7805

Can't guarantee current accuracy.

I found that same information a couple of weeks ago. I called the number and a gentleman answered the phone and informed me that
Key Hoy passed in 2018. Yes, I recently purchased one of Mr. Hoy's knives about a month ago. If I only knew how to post a picture I know
that you all would appreicate his work.

I have a dumb question, imagine that. Lol. I've seen some discussion on the Levine's books. I would like some reference reading. The 4th edition is hard to find and quite a bit more than the other editions. Wouldn't the 5th edition be more pertinent than the 4th? I was going to pick it up, but I'm curious what's in the 4th that I may want to hold out on and get that edition. Thanks for any guidance.
