I just wanted to spread the word, the Bluegrass Knife Show is this weekend.

Friday May 24
Saturday May 25

location:
Kentucky Horse Park
Lexington, KY 40511

If anyone isn't too far away, come check it out.

Carl, if you get a chance, it would be nice to see some pictures.
I'll take some to show here after I get back.
Thanks for the heads up, but I'm not seeing this on their event calendar. Do you have a link for this? Thanks

It's a show being put on by some dealers who are somewhat close to that area. There is usually a Central Kentucky Knife Club show in August in the same area that always has a huge turnout, so these dealers decided to put on an additional show. I see Jody posted the flyer with the info. They are promoting it pretty heavily on Facebook groups, but I thought it would be good to show on the forums as well. The more the merrier at a knife show.

Here is some extra info for those coming.

The show is in one of the exhibit halls in the Alltech Arena, located on the western side of the horse park grounds. The horse park will charge an admittance fee to come into the grounds. And there is plenty of parking all around the arena.

The showroom is big and laid out very spacious, and has lots of good natural light, lots of windows.

This was during setup Thursday.

Awesome. I might would have checked it out if I had known sooner and not already had plans. Thanks for sharing.

A few photos from the show. I didn’t get a chance to take very many.

The area is really nice. The horse park is a state park area run by the state of Kentucky, so it's all really well maintained, and very picturesque. Horses and pastures and barns everywhere. The show was in one of the side conference rooms attached to the giant rodeo stadium. The folks running the show said it went pretty well, and they hope to have another in September at the same location, and hopefully moving forward have it every May & September each year.

It's a bit of a drive for me, over 6 hours. But I'm glad I went, and hopefully can go again sometime. My dad was with me, and he occupied a lot of my time. He wanted to get out and see the horses and stuff around the area. If I go again, I promise to take more and better pictures next time.
