The bit is O1, it's pretty sharp too. I added a few more pics.

Dan, the maple background is the wood I am going to use for the knife you and I made. I bought the wood for the haft and the back ground wood at the same store, Rockler, they have some great stuff.

As soon as it stops snowing I will get some pics of it in action.
