So Bob, you are on his email list too. 😊

Like Tony, I like to watch craftsmen like Andy and crew, Liam, etc go through the process of making tools we are proud to collect, use, and call our own.

Yep for sure. Nothing like watching true craftsmen at work. I have a double bit camp hatchet on order and can't wait to get it.

Me too. His new Hawksbill hatchet. Can't wait to get it in some pics with my Fiddlebacks. I'm wondering which it will pair with the best. Any suggestions?

i cant wait to get my 12" single bit:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

I need to save up for one of his small double bits. I have been wanting one for some time.

Wow thanks for sharing! I know what I want for Christmas now.. or maybe next years.

Yeah, that was at Trackrock this past event. He's working with Luke Snyder (Bloodroot). Luke's a bit taller so Liam had to have a booster to get full swing. We may have to consider moving this kind of activity out into the open shed next spring....too much overhead hanging stuff in the barn.

and....I disagree with Phillip and Tony on "too late". Never too late if you're physically able and have the heart and passion for it!

Don't know about Liam, but I prefer the term "Smith" over forger for the obvious reason.

Wasn't meant as an insult or anything. I suppose I should have taken more time with the thought and said a smith who forges steel, but in this case I was just trying to differentiate from gunsmiths, locksmiths, goldsmiths, silversmiths, etc. who don't necessarily get that type of muscle development through their work alone.

i was actually intending it to mean "yes" she needed one of those everyday

Thanks, and I've been laughing because I don't think that's what they meant to say...?

"Yes, it's definitely too late for you to have and use a quality hammer in your life. Next. ":)""

Or, maybe that's exactly what they meant! Not that I don't wonder myself, many days.... ;)

This is likely the correct crowd in which to confess that I've always had a thing for hammers....
