In my adventures to a lame gun show and a trip to Gander Mtn, to pick my new firesteel, I ended up @ Borders. I bought Licensed to Kill by Robert Young Pelton. This will be my first RYP book, i am excited to read it.

That is all!:D

Borders said it doesn't come out til June?? Maybe it's a different book or she was an idiot. OR maybe I am an idiot.:D

Liscensed To Kill is a great book:thumbup:

I think Dangerous Places is more of a series of books instead of one book..they might have meant the next volume is coming out in June or something..

I was picturing a six inch blade version of the hest when I read the title..... I'll check out the book.

I enjoyed the book. I had no idea the extent of the contractor's roll and impact until I read it. Crazy. I wouldn't do their job if you tripled the paycheck.

I got an autographed copy with my numbered HEST too. It's a great read.

I enjoy RYP's writing style.

Yeah it is a pretty good book. I got two signed copies with my numbered Hest's.

I wish I woulda known about the signed copies and numbered H.E.S.T.s when they were still available.

Regardless I am very happy with my knife and I am enjoying the book.

Anyone who has a copy and would like it signed needs to remember to bring it to the SHOT show next year. Also, Pelton may be with us at Blade in Atlanta. Haven't nailed down scheduling with him yet but if he is you can bring your copy there also.

Cool, I'd like to get mine signed.

I`m halfway reading this book now. I really like the writing style of RYP! after this one is out i still got worlds most dangerous places. Thinking about getting the adventurist as well!

I just bought Licensed to Kill yesterday. I dont read a lot of books but have been meaning to buy one of his. I am on page 90 something so far. It is pretty good, very interesting stuff.

I am just reading this myself! It is well written, but depressing. We have become the "Evil Empire" that we originally fought against when our country was founded. Darth Vader would be proud... :barf:

The Adventurist is my favorit

Second that. License to Kill was my first, followed by Dangerous Places, but The Adventurist was by far my favorite. Great writing style. Couldn't put any of them down (with the exception of DP of course. Had to take a few breaks here and there. Thing is dense.)

Same here Nadz, I read a few chapters of DP between other books. I just finished The Adventurist and I'm back to DP. I've got Come Back Alive and The Hunter, The Hammer, and Heaven (I think that's the name) on order from Amazon.
