Has any one used Belt Butter - Life Extending Grease for Abrasives from Benchmark Abrasives? I am thinking of trying some but wondered if anyone has any experience with it?

I have used belt grease long ago. The mess was not worth it.

Now I only use a belt eraser
and get rid of belts as soon as the thought hits me "this is not cutting as well"

Thanks for the memory, sir! I haven't thought of that crap in 40 years. That was a good 5 minute experiment in wasted bux.

I threw it all away. What a mess.

Far better is getting a Kool-Mist clone off Amazon and setting up a mist spray on your belt. Talk about a game changer.

Yes, Those seem to work fine from what I hear. Use a good grade mist solution like the Kool-Mist concentrate. Once the air and water feed are adjusted right it blasts a cold mist on the belt right where you are working. Keeps your blade cool and the belt lubricated.
You can adjust it for a wetter spray if needed for grinding in bevels post-HT.
