...not to have good leather on your Fiddleback. Any knives bought on tomorrow's sales thread through Sunday midnight will be eligible for a "free" sheath made to order by Rick Lowe and shipped to your door. Internationals will be responsible for shipping charges above domestic rates.

For ideas on how bad ass your sheath could be visit:

http://rlocustomleather.com/

How this will work:

1. Phillip makes the thread live tomorrow.

2. Any knife purchased from the thread from when it goes live up until midnight Sunday (8/14) is eligible for a sheath. For example, if you shark 3 knives tomorrow you have 3 chances to win. If you purchase multiple knives you have increased your chances of winning, but are only eligible for one sheath.

3. I'll randomly select a winner on Monday after I've verified with Phillip who has purchased what.

4. If Rick doesn't have the pattern for the knife you purchased, FF can send it directly from the Forge to Rick and your knife will be delivered to you with a sheath. How sweet is that!

5. If you are the chosen winner you will need to contact Rick directly and collaborate with him to create the sheath of your dreams.

6. You take lots and lots of pictures of your awesome FF knife and RLO sheath in action and post them here to make us all jealous we are not sharing the adventure.

Cheers,

SG

Rick Lowe has been like a father to me since I started making knives. I will never be able to thank him for the things he does for us here at Fiddleback Forge, and also the things he has done for me personally.

Thank you Rick.

Hell yes. I've got lots of different makers sheaths that I either bought early on or came with knives that I snagged off the flea market.

But I treasure my RLO stuff.

Rick was my introduction into the people of this forum - my first actual face to face and handshake. A genuinely great guy.

And his work is remarkable!

This is amazing! I'll have to figure out my travel plans tomorrow so I can be available in case there's one that sticks out.

Rick's sheaths are great! I'm not sure how this deal is working but it's super cool of you to make this happen.

I've currently got a RL cross-draw sheath in transit today for one of my Fiddleback knives... He made it with fast turn around time too!

An open offer like this will make it hard to resist the temptation to "shark" up another blade from tomorrow's FF release. ;)

Wow. Rick is a class act and this represents an extraordinary value for everyone here and an extraordinary gift on his part.

Thats awesome Rick!

Some lucky folks are going to get a tremendous deal tomorrow!

It's my pleasure and honor to be part of the extended Fiddleback family, truly a great group of people. My thanks for all the kind and gracious words. Now, this offer will be completely open to the winners wishes. I'll make whatever is wanted including color/colors, carry style and decoration. Good luck to all!!

Rick,

Let me know if you need some free labor over there to keep up with this offer. I'm serious. It would give me an excuse to chew the fat with you...

So, is this just if you buy a knife from the Friday sale sometime between Friday and Sunday you get an RLO sheath with it, or will there be more to it than that?

If it's the former I don't see how I could resist buying a knife tomorrow if there's one that catches my eye.

Love my RLO leather. This is an amazing deal and gesture for any Fiddleback buyers this week. Get ready, stretch those fingers, replace those f5 keys...

Perfect! Thanks.

I have no problem making a sheath for each and every knife sold tomorrow, in fact, I'd welcome the chance. BUT, my CFO (wife) won't let me do more than one at no charge.:D Good luck to all and happy "sharking" tomorrow.
