Hello, I am in the market for a new EDC blade. After purchasing and carrying a few different folders, I know what I want. I am looking for something with:

-Weight under 3 ounces
-Blade length over 3 inches
-Closed length under 5 inches
-Preferably deep pocket carry
-Preferably not a lock back
-Preferably a higher end steel

The Caly 3.5 seems to be the closest to what I'm looking for, but I am wondering if there are any others I have not heard of. Thanks so much!

Benchmade 530.

That's a good choice, one of the first that jumps to mind. For something nicer, complete with a deep carry clip (the stock 530 has a normal clip) in case you wanted to clip instead of deep pocket the knife, you could also go with a William Henry E10 series knife, like this E10-2:

Look at Al Mar Knives they make several light weight large knives that are very well made there are a bunch with 4" blades

Yeah, the Al Mar Eagle Ultralight has a 4" AUS-8 blade and is a feather of a knife.
Don't knock AUS-8 steel when it comes from Al Mar.

OOPs, just saw the requirement for no lockbacks. Oh well, I like lockbacks just fine.

If you like the Caly it certainly would be a great choice. I doubt you'd be unhappy with it.
Lot of knives are close to your specs, many of them also Spydercos.

I'll throw this one in since I just got it:

Kershaw Speedform II

Steel: ELMAX, satin finished
Handle: 3-D machined G-10
Lock: Linerlock
Blade: 3-1/4"
Closed: 4-1/8"
Weight: 3.2 oz.
Clip: Tip-up, Tip-down Carry
Made in USA
Reasonably priced at ~$65

You could look at the Buck Vantage line up. Goes up through S30V. Carries like a gem.

BM 940/943, and call up BM and ask nicely for a few 810 clips ^^

Benchmade 940/943.

Seems to suit your expectations perfectly. S30v. Axis lock. 3.5" inch blade. 2.9 ounces. American made!

Thanks everyone! I am digging the 940/943. All of my nice knives are spydercos so it will be nice to branch out.

I do own an opinel #6 carbon steel. I am extremely impressed with it... For this one though i forgot to mention 1-handed opening. :)
