light box for pics?????

hey guys a while back there was a greaat thread on how to build a light box for taking pics of custom knives..... i would really appreciate a link or a step by step how to....

Hey stranger!

I have my pvc frame built and bought the lights but still have not made the box. Rat sent me a setup pic when I asked him about his great pics.

For now I'm still using southern window light diffused with a white trash bag or two with white reflectors to bounce light back on the knife.


edit- I've never used a Digi untill a couple months ago, I use my wife's cheap Digi. Since you have been using a digital a while and have a good camera your pics will look better than mine. So give window light a try until you can get the Box made.
 
You can find a fairly inexpensive lightbox on that auction site. It is built on the same principles as those spring loaded kids tents and wind shelters. Unpack it and it springs open and into shape. I keep toying with the idea of getting one.
