Whats the lightest pocket multi-tool that has a minimum of blade (preferably locking), scissors, can opener and bottle opener?

I recently got a new job in the downtown core so I now have to use public transit. I live in the "boonies" and I'm now walking quite a distance to catch the train; I'm finding that my EDC SAK -- Camper model-- to be a bit bulky/heavy with all of this walking so I'm looking for a lighter replacement that still has the minimum of the tools that I regularly use.

I've been considering a Wenger Adirondack but it does not necessarily have to be a SAK. Any suggestions?

Locking blade, scissors, and a can opener are a tough combo to get on a small tool. The adirondack doesn't have scissors. A vic compact or golfer has everything except locking blade and they're only 2 layers thick. A wenger traveler has everything except locking blade. It's 3 layers but only 3.25 instead of 3.5. It rides nicer in the pocket. I don't know of any microtool that has a can opener. that eliminates the micra, S4, sebertech, etc.
I guess I'd suggest the Vic compact.

what markd said... plus

For lightness, it's tough to beat a SAK. (Even the lightest Leatherman Juice with scissors and can opener, the S2, is 4.4 oz, whereas the SAK Huntsman with 4 backsprings is 4 oz) Unfortunately, the SAK's with locking blades are much bigger and only the thicker of the locking ones have scissors.

If you can drop the can opener and the locking blade, you can go as small as a SAK rambler or manager (2 1/2" and ~1 oz). Better, as markd said, the SAK Compact has everything except a locking blade in a 2 back-spring design. I have a SAK Compact and it is wonderfully thin and light. I consider it my "when I can have one small knife and only one small knife" knife.

So, my recommendation would be a SAK Compact. If you absolutely need a locking blade, get a Spyderco Delica FRN (1.9 oz.) or Spyderco Dragonfly FRN (1.2 oz.) and clip it inside your waistband or to your belt and you'll never notice it.

Or, do what I did, get a horizontal belt sheath and carry a Leatherman Wave (or a Supertool or SOG PowerLock if you want to be a read He-Man). I had the local cobbler take off the old vertical belt loop and add on two horizontal loops to my Wave holster (the molded nylon one). I never even know it's there.

edit to add Dragonfly option.

Victorinox Compact. It has everything you want except the locking blade.

I will also add my vote for the Victorinox Compact. This is the SAK that I take with me to work b/c I don't want to carry anything heavier in the office. The scissors aren't a strong as say a Leatherman Squirt or Micra but the blade is far superior and has the important toothpick for pre-meeting cleanup.

I agree with enkidu. The Leatherman Wave (or Pulse) will give you all you need in one package. My second choice would be a SAK, but I sure would miss having pliers.;)

My Micra is always in my pocket or on my keychain but I don't leave the house without a good locking knife strong side. Works for me.
