The Lightwave 4000 at 3 D cells and 10 LEDs with a 30 day burn time gets my attention!

I like it.

Nevermind the FX-ion LED Headlamp System. I'll never own one as $370.00 will probably never fit in my budget as a completely frivolous flashlight purchase, but how cool is this thing?

Browning makes a 10 led flashlight with 700 HOURS burn time on one set of d cell batteries for under 50 bucks, and the things made very well boutone for myself when they cam out a few months ago and love it.

It's the same light with Browning logos. The Lightwave version has been out since Aug 2001- Browning's since around SHOT '02. Neat light and it truly does run for over one month on 3 D's. A bit unweildy and the rubber covering really stinks (the smell on a case of the things stunk up my office to the point it needed airing out), but it works as advertised.

I agree, jmxcpter. I got one for Christmas last year and I still haven't had to change the batteries after extensive use. And it is one ridiculously tough light to boot!
