Looks like it will make a great all around user, I do like bowies. I also know the feeling of crappy pictures, I think knives are the hardest thing in the world to get a good picture of.

is blade geometry. It is very nice. I see too many knives that at least for me, have way too much straight edge length and then abruptly "round up" to the point. Yours has the look I like. Incidentally, much of that round tipped stuff comes from people shying away from grinding out there; it's a critical area that has ruined many a blade for people. I like to grind'em sharp to! :)

Well said, Mitch. I dig the blade shape a lot, too. You also did a real good job on the filework on the bottom.
If I were to suggest any improvements, it would be the lines on the edge side of the handle and the filework on the spine. But it's the blade that makes the knife and this knife has got one hell of a blade.
