Light My Fire 2.0 - ANYONE KNOW THE SPECS IN SAE? Help please.

I need some help. I'm trying to build a firesteel loop for a sheath to hold the LMF 2.0 model but I'm having trouble getting the American standard specs. Metric is 95mmx26mmx16mm. So the rod is 95mm, the handle is 26mm and the diameter is 16mm????

I just need to know the diameter and length of the rod portion only. 16mm is .63 inches (.629 actually) which is a hair over 5/8". That seems awfully thick for a firesteel rod.

Mods, I wasn't sure where to put this. Please move and forgive me if I have it in the wrong spot.
