Light weight classic folder?

Guys,
I'm looking for a light weight classic folder, something along the lines of the Buck Trio or such.

There are times that I want a nice little "gentleman's" knife (no clip) to drop into my pocket. However, the Bucks are all a bit heavy.

I'm fine with paying for a custom. Maybe small Ti folder with the classic looks.

Thanks!

Mnandi? I guess that clip can come off pretty easy, I've yet to purchase one but it's definintely on my list.

You might want to wait for the new Fallkniven U1 slipjoint with rosewood scales due to be released in August.

Try and find a slipjoint or lockback by Ray Cover or W.C. Davis. Beautiful fit & finish by either maker.

If you don't mind paying for a custom and you are looking for a traditional style knife it's tough to beat the unique beauty of a Bill Ruple trapper. (not exactly light weight, though)

That Ruple is really beautiful, especially that filework!

I would recommend looking at the CRK Mnandi, the clip can easily be taken off and it will still look like it never had a clip to begin with. William Henry's are also very nice and a lot of them are clipless as well. The mnandi is very lightweight at 1.5 ounces. Some WH's weigh this much but some are heavier depending on model and handle material.

Thanks for the input!

The Ruple is gorgeous.

I need to look into the Mnandi, 1.5oz sounds pretty reasonable. Also, I'll check into the William Henry's, it's odd, I've seen them around a lot but never considered them for some reason.

Thanks,

The Benchmade 940 Osborne series is really nice. Axis lock, light aluminum handle, nice blade size.

The BM 940 is great without a clip, and it makes the knife look much slimmer.

William Henry makes a nice knife. I have an older Spearpoint model with Redwood Burl handles.

I reciently picked up a Case yellow handle medium stockman. I was surprised it's actually quite a nice knife. Definatly worth looking at.

I would suggest a Mnandi, and use a CRK leather slip sheath. Excellent, excellent knife!!

I'd suggest a Mnandi, or a William Henry. Their CF series is amazingly light and VERY good quality. For a more budget-friendly option, I'd go straight for the Spyderco Kiwi
