I have a kelty quartz 2 four season tent that I still enjoy but overall it is a bit on the heavy side for any lengthy hiking trips. I have decided to shave some weight by replacing the fly with a lightweight tarp for 3 season weather. In addition, will get some lighter weight stakes. The poles weigh 1lb 4 oz. Does anyone know of any lighter weight poles that can be purchased? Need to measure the length of them again. Thanks

I'm not sure if they will be the size you need but REI has some nice poles that are seriously light. I use them with my 3 season tent. Might get some for my new 4 season tent depending on the one I choose and what the poles that come with it are like. EMS might have some too, I know hey have nice light weight tent stakes.
