Just in from TNK, Greg Lightfoot's new Essaaba, which means "respect" in Zulu. The knife is a tribute to Chris Reeve and his contribution to the industry in all aspects including the development of the frame lock design for folding knives. (notice the Mnandi clip too!) This is one tough little folder which will make a great EDC for me- blade is 3 inches, steel is Sandvik stainless 19C27 and the overlays are black G10. It also came with a sheath from AC Warren in Portland along with a cool lanyard with a shark’s tooth. Truth be told, I will probably never use the sheath but it’s still very nice nonetheless. I’m really happy with this one. I’ve always liked Greg’s work and have a couple of other Lightfoots, but a lot of his models are just too big and beefy to be a comfortable EDC for me, especially in an office environment- this one just hits the spot for me!

The first thing i noticed was the Mnandi clip. That is a neat looking knife. Congrats!
