Greg is the current President of the Canadian Knifemakers Guild and he is a very well known and appreciated maker. He is famous for making super tough folders and outstanding tactical fixed blades. He is also a martial artist and a hunter, ie he uses his knives and isn't just a pretty face. Also a great guy.
I have a few Lightfoots and as always it's a good idea to actually see and handle one or two to get an idea if they suit you. The folders' blades are on the thick and solid side and to my eye they are very sweet. But you should check out the blades and edge geometry of the model you are looking at to make sure it suits your purpose.
I particularly love his fixed blades which just fit me perfectly. I took one with me to Antarctica as my main (off water) knife and I have an old Predator fixed blade and a matching folder in my car and a double edged fighter by my bed, so I likes them alot

.
He has a website of his own as well as on the CKG site and he's good to talk to, but the demand for his knives is pretty heavy Fortunately they are available fairly widely, especially from true North knives up here in Canada, but US dealers usually have a few on hand.
Excellent knifemaker and excellent knives.
