I received my LCC Manual Action Folder today. I ordered it from the 1SKS. I am really impressed with 1SKS, my order was shipped in a cardboard box (not an envelope) and the knife arrived sealed in an unopened plastic wrapper. I had contacted them for a status earlier in the month and they were happy to update me. This knife is really nice! I have S/N 0299 and I have heard that some of the later models have different marking? Mine has "Lightfoot Compact Combat" on the blade. I have read that later S/N's may be marked with just "LCC". I don't know, just in case for any collectors out there. I plan to use mine. It is super well made and I feel like the price was an extremely good value. Any other first impressions out there?

I picked one up from my local dealer last Tuesday. It is serial number 272, bead blasted, combo edged and very beefy. It is a great knife and I plan to carry mine. It is a great value for the money since it is well constructed and looks just as good as a custom Lightfoot.

It's true about the markings on the LCC. I got one at a gun show yesterday and the number is in the 500's. It is marked Lightfoot LCC.

Hey guys

I'm jealous. I've been looking at the LCC but have another blade on order and can not afford both.

What do you think of the carbon fiber scales?
Do they function as well as they look?

GB- The scales are pretty slim (which I like) I think they are primarily there mostly for appearance sake. The overall design is rounded which makes for a comfy grip. I haven't done any serious cutting yet.
